In the first chapter of Henry Jenkins Convergence Culture we learn of an extraordinary group of individuals who have an obsession with spoiling survivor. They are a group like any other, as they consist of a heirarchy of elites. But their system is rocked whenever a person with serious intel intrudes into their systematic world. I found the principle of spoiling to be extremely interesting as it takes our consumption of media and the water cooler mentaility to its very limits with the use of todays techonolgy.
