Question for Henry Jenkins

In the book you talk of convergence culture to be the future and of our responsibility to be FULL participants. At what point is someone a full enough participant in convergence culture, because as we saw in the case of Heather Lawver and those who wished to fully immerse in the fandom of Star Wars, backlash is often encountered. At what point does a person become a dangerously active participant and a threat to the norms of grass roots versus corporation?
